The most common cervid in the trident isles, the branch-antlered deer has conquered nearly every environment on multiple continents. A high efficient digestive system and excellent senses allows them to compete with other herbivores nearly 5 times their weight.
The fancy glavebill, like all of the glavebill family, is actually a corvid which had adapted to a nearly fully carnivorous lifestyle. These birds are common stalkers of farmland, fields, and open woods. They generally target mice, shrews, and even rabbits on rare occasions.
The “tusked bison,” as it’s called by Canthrian Naturalists, is a hulking 7-8 ton enteledont. Having transitioned fully to carnivory, these massive predators are sauropod specialists. Despite their fearsome size, these predators are slowly becoming endangered due to habitat loss.

The flag-tailed deer, despite appearances, is neither a deer nor a dog! It’s a member of Moschidae, which are actually closer to bovids. These ungulates mimic the colors of the now extinct Canthrian Jackal, and use this to scare away other herbivores from feeding areas.
The Wolf Owl is a true pack hunting dromeosaur present on the trident isles, living mostly in polar regions.
