Fast paint / photobash for the project "Half-Life : The long Dark" Project.

A work in progress illustration for the fanficiton called "Half-Life : The Long Dark", where rebels tries to survive in in an Alaska infested by xen flying creatures.. Like "Boid", "aflock" and "Stukabat".

The story takes place 50 years after the known events of Half-Life 2 series and after the war against the Combine. After retrieving the technology from Aperture Sciences, Humans have colonized most of the solar system, in addition to spreading beyond the solar system.

"Besides Ravenholm, the Combined forces are also fighting in the Arctic Zone, in a frozen wasteland, against the Resistance and new alien species that have appeared after a new storm of portals from the phantom ship Borealis ..."

Just a fast photoshop test for the "Half-Life : Multiverse" Project.
Basically it's about the distant future of the events that occurred in HL2.
