@RPD_Survivor @Tiiramisu__ The canonical reason is most likely that Sonic & Amy set up some boundaries. In the IDW Comics, Amy mentions her feelings for Sonic, but is more respectful about his personal space.

Just found out Fang The Sniper isn't a Weasel, but a Jerboa/Wolf hybrid. Seems that people on Sonic's world can love other species, and have kids.
Nice to know Knuckles x Rouge is plausible.
