There are a lot of people who don't like the idea of Max being the Chosen Knight who will eventually marry Princess Peacock. When people think of him getting his way with her, they get a disgusting image of what he'd do to her. Green envy clouds their vision.

Ray has some crazy toxic green fire powers. What sort of mutant has he become? He flies, he breaths fire, he has mind control, and his strong plastic hood makes him look like a manta ray...why did he survive the explosion? Death would've made more sense...oh well.
Sure Wallop's cute but he still needs to eat. More or less just drawing how vicious he can get when he needs to be. Killing other bugs is what he prefers, don't worry about him thirsting for human blood. You people eat some nasty stuff and it doesn't taste good at all.
The Madame is a lot of talk for a harpy with a piercing voice. She rules an army of flying mutants and thinks she knows best.
