Day #15- Ornate Flying Snake
Compared to many other gliding animals, the flying snakes can travel further, by flattening their ribs and undulating their bodies-kind of like they’re slithering through the air!

Despite this beautiful species being considered an invasive species in many places, The Burmese Python is listed as a vulnerable species by the IUCN throughout it’s natural range.

at first thought to be an aggressive and hard to keep animal, captive breeding programs have mad this species a not only beautiful but manageable snake to keep as a pet.
