Picked this back up again. Been a while since I touched it, but slowly making progress.

Makin' slow progress. I think her face looks a little puffy, and I feel like I haven't really got the PARTICULAR curl of her smile down yet, but at this point I feel like I need to start filling out the rest of the pic. Can come back to the face later. Anyone got tips?

Started workin' on a painting a little today for fun while I was on lunch. This is Pola Negri in A Woman of the World. I've never seen any of her films tbh, but anytime I imagine the 1920's, her face is the first I think of, with her dark, sleepy eyelids 'n coy smile.
