TOXIN
Son of Carnage & basically the Broly of Symbiotes. Every 100 Symbiote birth cycles, an incredibly strong Symbiote is born. Toxin is infant minded and was raised like a child by Patrick Mulligan, who would later be killed only to have Eddie Brock become the next Toxin host.
SCARLET SPIDER?
Kaine Parker. Once a clone among the batch the original Scarlet Spider came from. He sought to keep his body from degenerating, and blames himself for the death of Ben Reilly. He is on a quest for redemption, and has really freaking cool bone claws.
DOPPELGANGER
Though seemingly generic as a villain concept, Doppelganger was one of many clones of Peter Parker. This particular one took much more primal attributes from the spider genetics, making him look like a deformed beast of the iconic hero. Cool boss in Maximum Carnage!
THE SPOT
A more comical selection among the characters in Spider-Man's universe, this villain was a scientist who would end up part of a tragic experiment of his own doing. (Go figure. Classic Comicbook Trope). He could create portals that could transport him wherever. He's dank
RED GOBLIN
During one of the most interesting parts of recent Spider-Man comics #795-#800, Norman Osborn had obtained the Carnage Symbiote. At the time he had been cured of the Green Goblin, only to make Carnage spit out the cure and become something more threatening than ever.
SCARLET SPIDER
Ben Reilly, a clone of Peter Parker. One of my childhood favorites. Suffering an identity crisis that is portrayed differently with each take on the character. But as I remember him, he made the ultimate sacrifice so that Peter Parker could live his life.
AGENT VENOM
One of my favorites. Flash Thompson. Yes. THAT Flash. The school bully. Most people might not know that he went through a whole redemption arc. He eventually went to the military, lost his legs, & became a hero. SHIELD took him in to test a controlled Venom Symbiote.
The changes I made I loosely based on the Blaze the Cat prototype silhouette, as his origins stem from the Sol Dimension.
His previous design was a Hedgehog, which I honestly felt was something I really wanted to change. As unique as you can make Hedgehog characters, the story I wanted to build upon him felt forced. These changes in his species and design do have some impact on story.
