Huh! This was just supposed to be base for earth colored version. But maybe there exist golden colored nighstalkers and they are the rarest color for that species. Could be fun color concept to explore for her sons design.

I THINK the females generally have dull colors, and that Haruna is one of the few cases of alpha females that exist in that world. I don't see her as a submissive character. This works as example for teacher of dominant color

Have wondering about tail glowing before it strikes. But that takes away it's ambush ability. So I think a glowing tail is one of the things it does to intimidate. My idea is use chameleons. Bright colors are sign of dominance while--

When I was thinking about more concepts for the hands in front I remembered there exist birds that use sticks to get insects. So I think I'll go with the concept that it will use the hands to snatch prey that hide in small areas it will not be able to reach with it's pinchers
