This is a concept art of Setsuka. It was designed as a blend of Japanese and Western style "female fencer" with less exposure. Motif of a snowflake is used in various parts. The haori, a memento of her master, was also an important element.(1/2)

(2/3)ラフ案の段階では、和、洋、花魁、任侠など過去作にあった要素を洗い出しつつ新しい要素を盛り込み、今作の雪華に相応しいイメージを絞り込みました。インナーに紐の表現が見られますが、これは和の艶やかさと、彼女の自戒自制の念を表現しています。

雪華のコンセプトアートです。和洋折衷の個性を守りつつ、露出を抑えて格好良さを重視した「女剣客」イメージを強調しました。着物の柄、金具や紐などに「雪の結晶（雪華）」をあしらっています。師の形見であるマント風の羽織も重要な要素として拘りました。(1/3)
