合わせ鏡で結い髪を確認する美人を本絵に、鏡磨きの職人をコマ絵に描いた１枚。
当時の鏡は水銀とミョウバンを擦り付けて磨き上げることで反射を得ていたようで、表面はすぐに曇ってしまい、定期的に磨く必要があったそうです。
