@NaomiBro I’m going with a lobster.
Technically they’re immortal, at least as far as ageing in the typical sense is concerned. Sadly nature is a b**th & locks the maximum size of their shells but not their body. If disease or predation don’t get them then their own growth kills them off.

Get a load more reference && if it still doesn't happy then go work on something else & come back.
Both Stardew Valley && Fez suffered from the same issues. As the dev's art skills grew they had to redo all the art.
