The first Russian edition of Winnie the Pooh was published in 1960 and illustrated by Alisa Poret.
November 7 celebrations on the covers of Murzilka, a Soviet children's magazine. November 7 (the October Revolution Day) was one of the biggest holidays in the Soviet Union with huge celebrations all over the country.

Here’s something great for you. A very rare first edition of Eduard Uspensky’s book “Gena the Crocodile and His Friends” illustrated by V. Alfeyevsky (published in 1966). It’s the very first presentation of #Cheburashka and he looks very different to how we know him now.
