@ShiningSoronya @ShiningNikki_SN @Kestrel Here we go! One version with the text and another without
@MizuhanaOVT @tommiefkntomm The eye is rotated because the person treated the eye like a pokemon human not a pokemon cat. It wasn't just down to perspective.
@FlamingFoxProd @tommiefkntomm Just a quick example of other cat pokemon which highlights 0 shaped eyes on cat pokemon instead of angled is a style break. Meowth has the closest to the "fixed" version and even then the eye shape is not 0 shaped.
@FlamingFoxProd @tommiefkntomm The reason it's rotated is because the fixed version also removed the fact it's a cat eye and instead treated it like a pokemon human eye. I got hit by word count in the quick explanation and I didn't want to make it a multiple thread breakdown. Cat eyes are tilted.
@tommiefkntomm Making this it's own comment but if Sprigatito was facing front on (Quick mockup explanations)
OG vs "fixed"
@deadspike007 @tommiefkntomm Actually revisiting the fixed version it'd actually look like this since they didn't rotate the left eye
@deadspike007 @tommiefkntomm This isn't fully perfect on my part since I'm making these mockups quickly but this is the OG Sprigatito's face if it was looking straight on rather than off to the side.
@deadspike007 @tommiefkntomm Here's a quick mock up I did to show if the "fixed" version was looking straight on. As you can now see the one eye is actually out of place. This is due to the fixed version actually breaking the perspective of where the face is looking.
@tommiefkntomm The more I look at the "fixed" version all I can see is this face
If you remember these games then you're the real MVPs
