still though, its really impressive that may's ongoings lasted for a total of around 130 issues. i think if you're in the mood for something different with spidey, you should definitely check out the original run. you can get pretty much every issue on comixology!
her villains are generally pretty alright. sometimes she'll throw down with a classic spidey villain, but usually she fights new guys like mr. nobody and crazy 8. i think it really helps that they're all unique to her, though.
i think another thing that really helps is the characters unique to the MC2 universe. even in the first issue, the world of spider-girl feels very lived in since there are a bunch of brand new super heroes running around doing stuff, kinda like how it was in early ASM with the FF
