#bluefairy is my favorite. She is me. I am her. Don't you dare put me in a #potionbottle . I'll open a can of #fairymagic on you and turn you into a frog or something. This #watercolor painting is from last year but I'm sharing it today for #faebruary .
Continuing on from yesterday, here's another #bottledfairy for #faebruary ! This little #purplefairy looks like she just woke up from a nap in her #potion of #pixiedust . I painted these little #watercolorpaintings last year just because I love faeries and #potionbottles !
Last year I painted bottled #faeries and other little #creatures in #potion bottles. I've had too much other stuff to do to keep working on them, but maybe this year I'll find some time. I thought I'd share these little #watercolorpaintings for #faebruary .
Next in my #butterflyfairies series is "Arthemis", the red-spotted purple butterfly. This #digitalpainting features a #faerie in a #rosegarden like I could dream of at the time but I ended up with one, isn't life weird? This is the 2nd from this series for #faebruary .
How about an older set of #digitalpaintings for #faebruary ? Here's "Moon Moth", one of three #butterflyfairies I painted years ago. I love #moonmoths and I don't get enough chances to paint them. Someday soon I should paint more butterfly fairies in #oilpaint , don't you think?
"Gems of Autumn" is another of my little #fairywitch #fantasycreatures that I thought I'd share for #faebruary . I showed you Spring, Summer, now here's #autumn . #feathered and surrounded by flowers and leaves, I hope you get all the #autumnvibes from this oil painting.
Yesterday I showed you "Gems of Spring", so today I'll show you #summer ! I have serious #summerlove and as I type this my fingers are frozen. I can't wait for #butterflies and #flowers and even #cicadas that may be hidden in this #oilpainting called "Gems of Summer".
I really love #classicalart that includes #faeries - don't you? Sometimes I want to #paint the same things, but it's kind of boring copying someone else's art. Here's one I actually finished. This is "Dusk", an #oilpainting from 2018, heavily inspired by #Bouguereau .
Here's another #faerie for #faebruary2021 ! This one is an #autumnfae just out doing autumn fae stuff. I painted this in #watercolors a couple years ago and she recently found a home. I don't paint in watercolors very often anymore but my #watercolorlove is strong anyway.
