Sketched this up since suddenly Harry the werewolf from #scarygodmother has been becoming popular all of a sudden. As someone who's always been a fan of Scary Godmother from the beginning and of Harry's, it's kinda nice to see it happen, but part of me feels like Harry right now.
@thejillthompson Forgive me if this is presumptuous in any way. I really wanted to sketch how Harry would respond to such accusations.
I received priceless guidance & constructive criticism recently about my art and what direction to go with it, so I spent time today practicing those said techniques. I pray this looks much better (especially color-wise!) than how I normally used to do. One step at a time, right?
Lastly, here's all three to compare their sizes amongst one another. I tried my best to replicate Ken Sugimori's style of coloring he did for Red, Blue, Green, Yellow games & Gold, Silver, & Crystal. Ken Sugimori's designs inspired me as a kid, so hopefully it shines through!
The Water/Grass starter actually went under the least change. To be honest, I felt it had the most solid design between the three between their old designs. Regardless, with a minor tweak in anatomy (arms mostly) here's the last of the trio!
The Fire/Water design is the one which went under the most change. I actually had a lot of fun redsigning it too!
What does this overgrown fox & @Aokamidu have in common? Dragon-Buddyfight inspired designs exclusively on Patreon https://t.co/8hvH44PXrI!
Decided to color one of the poses while exploring the summer concept. I thought this pose & angle were playful.
