I think the greatest surprise to come from this rewatch of Zeta Gundam is Katz.
I like Katz now.
I find him more endearing than my first watch session, and I can better perceive him and his role in the story more clearly. Katz is just a kid, after all.

Tomino's direction frustrates me so much, but especially in Turn A when its at its most dynamic.
How can he make some really stilted scenes overflowing with wonderfully applicable commentary and then have something like A JUDO THROW THAT LEADS INTO A HEADSHOT~
