The Clerk is a servant of the other Fates and was charged with getting the protagonist to find Tod since in one timeline he managed to be in a relationship with one of Tod's daughters
Some gods didn't like the fact that there was something on par with their power left on earth
One of the original children of the abomination was still alive
Tod, the father of the vampire
He has ridiculous shapeshifting powers and used them to live among humanity
The worm on a string was a familiar of Clotho
one of the three fates and spins the thread of fate
Gods and strong mythological figures created by humans are at least on par with strong monsters but have weird rules and limitations
hence the vague hints the worm could give you
Humans have had a little bit of eldritch in them for a long time and the strange element manifests as a linked belief system
If enough people believe in something it exists
leading to the emergence of gods
hence the importance of symbolism
Modern monsters are the result of a LOT of hybrids and either have traits of the earth's animals or are essentially human with strange elements
usually the less human, the stronger and more likely to have the eyes
I'll be doing a different story and characters so for anyone interested I'll be posting the original stuff here
First off, the eyes
Strong monsters have yellow or orange eyes like their mother, an eldritch abomination who came a long time ago and dumped her kids off to breed
Horny art thread
I need to get back in the mood for what I have planned
