Duramboros is a burly brute wyvern likely inspired by ankylosaurids judging by its iconic club and its blunted face. Its dual-humps are also reminiscient of a bactrian camel's, with horns similar to those of a bighorn sheep or other horned ungulate.

@BannedDino I've asked this question to others before but never gotten an answer, so I was curious if you knew: I noticed Paolumu and Pukei-Pukei have very similar wings and feet, but they're different monster classes. Are they related in any way?

Improvement check, 2018 vs 2020
Honestly I didn't have any good comparisons from 2016 /this year, & most of my work this year has been pencil work. I honestly feel like I've gotten *worse* in some places bc of a lack of time/practice, but I can at least see the improvements here.

Agnaktor is best clappy boi and also potentially inspired by a Spinosaurid based on its head shape and sail. However, its body posture and teeth arrangement more closely resemble a crocodilian (ex. gharial).

Also he's heckin cute

Ibushi and Narwa's faces appear to be based on Moray eels, including their second set of jaws. They might also take inspiration from Pelican eels.

Being based on an aquatic animal is fitting for their Coral Palace home, even though they're airborne monsters!

He might also take some inspiration from the gorgeous ridge arrangement of the dragon snake.

It's a good aesthetic.

I might try to doodle my own interpretation of some armor 🤔
