@sloanesloane Unfortunately, the bulk of his early comics work was made up by Kafre, an inexcusably racist 'humor' comic. Here's Sabraxona, which was later published in English in Heavy Metal (can't find the English scans sorry), a pretty fun superhero parody.

Esp those big splashes he does. When comics people say Cubism I think they mostly mean 'there are shapes' which is just bad analysis and sinply untrue. Cubist paintings are striking sure, but they aren't really focused on power.
