Today is Day 10 of OCTOber. It's also my friend Kerry's birthday, and he requested a DOCTOpus (Kerry being an internationally sought after expert in emergency medicine). So here you go, doc. The cephalopod is for you! Oh, in case you didn't know ... an octopus has three hearts.

If I'd known that October 8th was World Octopus Day, I'd have made it the focus for today's OCTOber drawing. But I didn't. Instead I did this little sketch celebrating the fact that we have unseasonably good beach weather this weekend here in the PNW. Don't forget the sunscreen!

For Day 7 of OCTOber I did my first octo-cosplay drawing—The DARKTOPUS! I'm open to suggestions for future octo-cosplay drawings later in the month ... I'll send you a hi-res file of the finished piece if I pick yours.

My beloved @Mets finished the season with 101 wins and are going to the playoffs! Day 6 of OCTOber celebrates this ... also the fact that the two other teams I root for (@Mariners @BlueJays) also made the playoffs, but have to play each other in the first round. LETS GO METS!!!
