Grimald is the Dragon of Earth & Guardian of the Mountains, she looks a little gruff around the edges. but she can be quite sweet with the right words. The leaf-like veins in her wings I especially love how that came out XD

And since I touched on Saphir, I feel it right to bring up her parents. Her mother Goldiana (the gold one) & her fathers Uduak (the blue one) & Umbra (the silver one)

Who's Odim? Why another of Saoirse's council! He is the blacksmith, for dragons need weapons & armor too! A gentle soul who has been loyal to Saoirse's family for centuries. His tail doubles as a hammer for his forge, though his fire breath is hot enough to get the job done XD

There is also Galdur, her eccentric & often absent minded alchemist. And yes his wing & leg are mechanical. He lost them in a freak accident so had Odim rebuild him some new ones.

She also has Fa'adru (green & tan) who is her personal translator. He can magically read or speak any language depending on the writing he magically tattoos onto his scales. His mate Twinkle (blue & purple) is her fierce general & unafraid to fight for those she cares about!

But Saoirse isn't alone in her struggles, for through the course of the story she meets her mate, Light Latcher.

Why is Idum in mourning? Well that would be due to the death of his mate & Saoirse's mother, Deidra, the Dragon of Hope. Initially she was able to quell his chaotic nature & the only one able to stand up to him. But with her passing, things have not been the same.

But yes in case anyone couldn't tell, dragons are a big passion of mine! XD

The next few groups of dragons I got the descriptions from my friend @LoganBurns who has an amazing talent for world building & character creation!
