Holy shit, the Castlevania 3 soundtrack cover didn't *need* to look this cool

I've been playing some Maverick Hunter X, here's a few observations I have:
-The control feels pretty good, you can tell they tried really hard to replicate the original's physics, and this is very noticeable in Armored Armadillo's stage
-The soundtrack is VERY hit or miss

I love seeing japanese RPG covers that are pretty much just the main characters standing in the middle of a white void

@autumnwoman I love how dark and atmospheric Magus' castle is at first, but then when you enter it you find people that look like this. There's a goddamn Donkey Kong reference there too

Anyways, I'm not gonna judge Kuja FinalFantasyIX as a villain before seeing the entire story, but I'm gonna say... it's hard to take him seriously when he unironically has "MWAHAHAHAHA" in nearly every single sentence. His secret base is literally a haunted mansion

I'm loving FFIX so far but... wow, Trance really is just useless, isn't it. They got Limit Breaks just fine in VII, how did they screwed them up so hard here.
It always happens when you least need it, and ends up just wasting more time than it saves. At least the designs are cool
