I'd also like to add that in situations like this, I actually draw out the characters behind pretty significantly even if they're going to be covered up. In this situation, the dragon forms are pretty fleshed out even if only a small portion will be visible in the end.

Not 100% sold on the Blond Hair. But it's coming together nicely, albeit a little slowly.

One of the hairstyles I'm playing around with for him. Not as sophisticated as I was planning ( think I was playing a tug of war match between sophisticated and young lol ) but it's working on me, probably going to do a bit of chin fuzz as well.
