If you haven't read it, I recommend Darwyn Cooke's New Frontier. It is a shining example of mature themes in a book any age can read. About real heroism and the possibility of sacrifice. In my humble, humble, opinion everything a Super Hero book should be.

Dang it, having the trouble getting to comic work today, who knows, maybe I'm burning myself out or trying too hard. Trying to keep the momentum by drawing a quick Blood Reign sketch. Read the first volume by @GeronimoDraws last night. Not a bad time at all.

Fast warm up after time away from the desk. Every once in awhile I turn back to classic literature for a sketch. gwynplaine from The Man Who Laughs, is a favorite. A quick 10 minute sketch and I am back in it.

Some days, I get an idea and scribble it out then either delete it or archive it. This is one of those ideas. @petersimeti has been making me laugh with the Macho Man responses and not this isn't a direct quote from him.
