A rough concept of Ahsoka Tano having a vision of her former master, being consumed by the Dark Side even as he struggles for, and finally achieves, freedom from it.
Ultimately this concept was deemed too metaphorical, even as a vision. But I like it, and I though you might too.

I got to do another Make A Magic Card Live event with Gavin Verhey, Jason Engle, and Florinda Zanetti! Together we're creating "Bella, the Hearthbreaker." So fun! I got this far before my sugarlust dragged me away to find snacks.

The only thing blacker than Liliana's magic, is her coffee. Beans grown in exhumed murderer's corpses. Dried over smoldering demon bones. Aged deep in a banshee haunted bog. Brewed in Vlad the Impaler's Mr. Coffee machine. Sipped from the skulls of her vanquished foes.

I'm happy with the result of this piece, but there is a ton that could improve it. It's so uniform it looks like it could be on the dollar bills of Mordor. "In Sauron We Grovel..." It's perhaps too precise, and thus missing a lot of spontaneity and "hand drawn" feel.

I absolutely love Throne of Eldraine. I had a great time working on it, and I'm excited to play the dickens out of it. This piece I really enjoyed exploring the narrative of the classic hero adventuring into the unknown, excited and unafraid of the mysteries of a dreamlike world.
