The guantlet was thrown on Twitter for me to create a self-portrait merman for #mermay.

Challenge accepted.

It was suggested by @beinspired2love that I paint a merman self-portrait for #mermay. Challenge accepted, Rachel.

Just a quick sketch of Darth Talon, while I'm waiting on the seemingly interminable drying time of oil paint, and and almost miraculous delay in project feedback. I do art all day (ok, MtG Arena and a little bit of art) but rarely have a chance to sketch just for the fun of it.

For funzies sketch: Cyber Shinobi. I like robots, okay? A robot cleans my floor, and my wife drives a robot, which was built by another robot.

But now I have to get back to "real work..." (HA! My job is to live in a fantasy world!)

Back from Japan and battling a completely upside-down sleep schedule. I'm just waking up. The trip was awesome, I still have much to torment your feed with. Tales of revelry, curiosity, and mystery meats of varying deliciousity.
