Will need a base sprite to do my style tests on, and I decided to go with Ningguang. Once I got her sketch cleaned up and detailed, I'll be able to start figuring things out. Stay tuned!!!

With that whole fight being a love letter to Final Fantasy, I just had to bring it full circle.
Likely my favorite battle of the entire campaign.

[WiP] So weird to say this, but the main sprite is pretty much done. Might tweak some bits here and there, but will now focus on the characters. FFVI characters are just there for visual reference.

[WiP] Just need one last push to get the main boss sprite finished up. Will have to tweak the colors a bit once it's finished before moving on to background / hero characters.

[WiP] Spent the entire day on those wings, but I'm finally pretty happy with how they turned out. At least most of what I'm missing should be quite a bit easier to texture.

[WiP] Yup this lower section is a nightmare to texture while still keeping it readable. Had to redraw some sections several times as they just kept looking like pixel-vomit.
Still having a blast with it though, I'm so dang happy with this project.
