"Do Princesses Live in Sandcastles?" by Carmela LaVigna Coyle. A fun rhyming book where you are invited to explore a sandy beach for a day with two adorable, rambunctious kids. The illustrations are quirky and action-packed. Highly recommended by Storywraps.

"Wake Up, Baby Bear!" by Lynn Plourde. A charming story about a sleepy little bear come Springtime. Why? He stayed up far too late in the Fall. Can he be revived? Sweet story about how Mother Robin made that happen.

"The King of Bees" by Lester L. Laminack. A wonderful story with gorgeous illustrations that highlights bee keeping, their behaviours and habits. I highly recommend this book.

"Simon and the Big, Bad, Angry Beasts"- a book about anger, it's consequences and techniques to control it. Illustrations are wonderful. Highly recommended.

"Surfer Dog" by Eric Waters. A charming book about a friendship between a stray dog and a young boy who hook up together to surf the waves daily and enjoy the company of one another. The illustrations are great!

"Fania's Heart" by Anne Renaud. An inspiring true story of one holocaust survivor and the one piece of magic she was able to bring home with her when she was finally released. So worth the read. Highly recommended.
