...They do know Pokemon didn't invent the monster collecting RPG, right? Megami Tensei predates Pokemon by almost ten years. You've got stuff like Dragon Quest V, and I think even some older PC titles had elements of monster collecting
@GirlyWolfPup Does/Can that include the original characters that were created by guest artists like Necrid, Ashlotte, Angol Fear, and Kamikirimusi?
Most of the Mega Evolutions that I actually like...really shouldn't have been Mega Evolutions.
They should have just been regular Evolutions into new Pokemon. But they came out in that period when GameFreak just wasn't doing those.
