Darrell K. Sweet

I learned about this artist after finding a book of his artwork at a comic shop. Sweet's art runs the gamut from sweet and whimsical to intensely bleak, always with an enormous degree of creativity and skill.

Kenket (Tess Garman)

I found Kenket's art years ago, back when I was much more involved in the MLP fandom, and I believe that was a big part of what eventually spurred me on to fully embrace traditional artwork.

Bill Watterson

Watterson was my number one influence for a long time! His gorgeous watercolor paintings and selectively-detailed ink drawing style are inspiring, and even though I've broadened the pool of artists I look up to, I still often find myself coming back to Watterson.

Peter de Sève

Just an all-around fantastic artist. Great character designs, facial expressions, compositions, colors--I study his work all the time and constantly find it enlightening!
