Well, I'm no Jedi - I tried =P Ended up changing everything (once again) at the last moment.
I finally got around to replay DarkForces/JediKnight. A proper remake would be great.
Went back to an old model. Simplified it. It's like emotional roller coaster: I want to scream. But everything looks okay. And then - bam! - it's horrible, how did I not see. Oh wait, it works. NO, it doesn't! AAA!. #b3d
...Better do something else for a bit. I'll reinstall Unity
What a funny feeling: lately half of the problems seem really easy and the other half - utterly impossible. Like clothes. Or shirt hair. Or retopo >='( Or UVs. And don't get me started on baking apple pies #b3d
Yay, my first python script! And it even does all that I planed, which is mostly just organizing hair cards into collections... still I'm almost proud of writing it. I thought of some additional functions for later, but for now lets call it done and focus on modelling again #b3d
While trying to sculpt, I found out that I always draw faces like these from front view. They look a bit funny from sides %)
This time I learned: texturing with fill layers/masks, the existence of gradient tex node and how to compile a program you don't need in VisualStudio #b3d
Logic? Common sense? Not today. Just copy-paste these strands like crazy!
This was just a workflow test though. Next time I'll try a more reasonable haircut XD #b3d
I realize I'm kinda prejudiced against new #StarWars franchise. It will never replace X-Wings in my heart. But even without words rolling into space and legendary music somehow the #Mandalorian was the most Star Wars thing since old EU. It was love at first sight =) #fanart #b3d
This thing turned into an anatomy study and I got stuck in it. Very educational. But frustrating. In a moments like this you see humans as aliens, everything seems unfamiliar. Men have weird shapes, I just don't get it %O
