Kipir are such a cool race. They are basically a special evolved form of owl bear that have chosen a civilized life.

The party is met by a small gnome while out scouting for a local Bugbear tribe harassing a nearby village. "What brings you to these parts" they ask "Not much just collecting bits and pieces" Said the small rotund creature. Little did they know, oh how little they knew.
