A study for the picture book biography I’ve been working on. I tried a new to me painting technique, and I love how brush strokes are visible and imperfect it is. This is probably my favorite piece I’ve ever painted!

I (my sons) have two Guinea Pigs- Oreo & Marshmallow, and they are cuties. I’m working on a picture book story about a guinea pig, but then realized I’ve never drawn guinea pigs!
