((Summer actually has a family, though they will/do not necessarily play a big role in the series.
Among her relatives is her younger sister named Gwen! Though she likes to dress in black, she's actually a very cheery girl! Unlike Summer, Gwen actually has a Doglike chest mark!))
((Shriek is the barista at the cafe the Summer and co. went to.
She's also a species of shapeshifting shadow beings that,
when angered, let out a horrible piercing shriek freezing those who hear it in absolute terror. It's a good thing Shriek's chill though))
((Did you know? Liz wasn't born with blond hair. Her hair was actually dark when she was growing up. It only became blond later in her adult life. I actually tried to hint that more in her new design))
((In the initial series there's section where Summer writes in her journal, and you can see where her head's at. This would've been a reoccurring session, sometimes including lil hints and stuff! It also would've been accompanied by "End of Day" music depending on her mood.))
((I was really excited to introduce this character in the original Summer Can DO It! series, but she the series went on indefinite hiatus right before we got to her. I would've really liked to see everyone's thought and reactions to her haha. Oh well...))
((The Panyarena were actually a character concept that I had even before Summer Can DO It! They were inspired by the identical looking pretty NPC girls trope. Much like Pokemon's Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny, and Fire Emblem's Anna. The Panyarena are actually omnilingual too!))
((With Summer Can DO It! being an askblog originally, I had this idea, during certain plot points when Summer is beginning to doubt herself, the viewers would cheer her on via "You can do it!" asks to help get through the trial! I tried to implant this idea in the opening scene))
((Summer's original design was inspired by Isabelle from Animal Crossing. She was originally much more twiggy and flat/modest chested and initially had more tiny stubby paws rather than fully opposable ones. Some of this can be seen in the opening panels of the series.))
