Started doing a visual pass on Loco Motive over the holidays as part of a more polished version. The skybox looks a lot nicer, but there's also more detail overall!

After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time.

The feudal japan theme required reimagined versions of the classic Kingdom base structures, from the campsite to the village hall, up to the castle. These went through several iterations. Researching japanese structures and combining elements got good results in the end!

Now #KingdomTwoCrowns is out, I wanted to share some work I did on the game! One task early on was to suggest additional visuals. Initially pitched as a bamboo forest, this expanded into a whole feudal japan theme! Here's an early mockup I made of the bamboo forest:
