Process for the "Tropical" background. As you can see, the general shapes and composition of each plane were changed quite a bit. That poor palm tree got chopped and replanted closer to the camera. It's ok to change your mind if something isn't working out 🙂

As you can see, each of the pieces that compose a Surreal portrait have been lovingly (and painstakingly) painted by an artist with just the right amount of sleep deprivation. This was the process behind the Pillar Fortress, one of the possible backgrounds for our NFTs.
