so when Bloodscales get the scent of large amount of blood, it can threaten a complete shutdown of any sentience, turning them into frenzied beasts. They contort their appearance, and lose control. Their shrieks akin to a banshee.

Big mean boy incoming

Bloodscales (the red species of dragon I made that I keep drawing) have really really stretchy lips that allow a big range of emotions, and extreme snarls when theyre angry. They have small teeth across their beaks to help tear apart prey.
