@curemachwindy for a second I thought it was Chiyoko Wato from Mitsume ga Tooru (The Three Eyed One) or an incarnation of her from one of Tezuka's work, but I can't find a version that looks exactly like that

Even the 80s version didn't look like the designs from the original pulp novels they were adapting
Also I think the different designs help to showcase that this is a new Dirty Pair and a different take at first glance and shows they are trying the 90s thing

It's fantastic, but I know there are others that don't like it
However I love the designs and different take and what they did with it
They couldn't get the actors to come back so they went with a different take
