#Orctober Day 11: Knight
Orcs did not have regular cavalry units until after the Elven colonial era. Depicted here is an 'Orukhan rider, equipped in the classic uniform: bamboo armor lacquered with ivory fire-resistant glaze, bone/horn ornaments, and a Dwarven-style warcoat.
#Orctober Day 10: Jewel
Orcish finesmiths rival those of the Dwarves, able to show strength and grace in their jewelry. Here, an Ogalogh bride prepares for her next wedding by picking out heirloom pieces and gifts from her other spouses.
#Orctober Day 9: Idol
The O-Pop (Orcish Pop) scene often churns out idols who appeal to the punk and rock scenes. Simple outfits and aesthetics go with Orcish values of authenticity, raw power, and literally laying yourself bare to the world.
#Orctober Day 8: Hunter
In the driest summer months, Orcish hunters wield enchanted fire bows to take advantage of the dry overgrown grasses and plentiful hares, creating magic fires that track their prey (and cook them too). In turn, they clear the brush for more plants/animals
#Orctober Day 7: Gods
"All Orcs dread to meet the Crone
Her dripping flesh like wax on bone
Judging from the things you've sown
If your name shall be carved in stone
Or whether you should die unknown."
Zhedzhor, Orcish goddess of sacrifice, memory, and fire, judge of the dead.
#Orctober Day 3: Day
The Festival of the Longest Day (summer solstice) is celebrated by heading to the lakeside, hosting picnics, and eating lots of barbecued meat skewers! If only it weren't so hot outside;;;
"Yeah, I'm a tomb raider. What gave that away?"
