I think this might be a better version.

I brought him back to the drawing board to try and work out some design changes. Still not completely happy with it but we're stepping forward.

Despite being knocked down repeatedly, he continues to push his physical limits until his adversary, (Dread the Immortal) grows tired of his bravado and literally pulls Cinder's arm from his body.
If his mentor, Xen, hadn't arrived to intervene, he would have died.

Cinder's arm is a unique prosthetic built by a genius Tserran mechanic. The metal was forged from symbiocite, an ore that fuses to organic material it comes into contact with. Over time, Cinder's bond with the prosthetic has allowed him to have a sense of touch through it.
