The loss of a couple friends and my day job has affected my creativity.

The brief was to repurpose a piece that we'd done before. I never liked where this painting was going so I washed it & threw on some straight from the tube. After a few days I saw the It's metallic liquid acrylic.

Thanks for the art share, Kev! I don't often pick up acrylics these days, but this is one I did for a small group activity with friends several years ago. I sometimes miss the physical textures possible with acrylics or oils.

Inktober wasn't the end. Here are a few odds and ends from the first days of November (no prompts).
1. Coworkers at a staff meeting. Proportions are off but
2-4. Pub paintings - done in poor light during concerts at pubs.

Thanks, del, for the thread! My favorite medium is watercolor. I've loved doing landscapes for a long time, but I'm breaking out of my comfort zone with people (and birds). I also play in pen/ink and graphite, and I love to doodle.

Continuing with the impressionism: Monet's Soleil Levant. Watercolor focussed on color and loose brush strokes. Underpainting was for sunset seascape, so it was a good repurposing.
