I love the transition between pages here. In one we see Spy about to get stabbed in the back, and in the next, without missing a beat, Joey Murders has his own murder weapon stuck in his corpse.
Mags is certainly good at holding grudges. She's so incredibly displeased to see Hale in this scene. Notice, also, how they've transitioned to calling each other by their full names as opposed to just "Sax" and "Mags."
Hmm...I wonder how that turtle got into the funeral.
@ParodyAllMight Bet you can't win a fight against Saxton Hale!
I was totally unaware that Team Fortress Classic existed the first time I read these comics. After racking my brain as to who this shadowy figure was, I came to the conclusion that it must be some new villain.
Boy, was I wrong.
The last time Ms. Pauling went to Demo's house, she was trying to convince him to murder his best friend. Now she's here with his best friend and they're trying to convince him to come back to the (yet-to-be-assembled) team. And look how happy he is when Pauling males the offer!
"I was sad! You were happy! So I killed Tom Jones!"
This implies that Soldier is still sad.
I feel kinda bad for Merasmus, too. Nothing right seems to happen to him. Granted, he's evil, but still. Seems like Soldier ruins every aspect of his life.
What even the hell is Olivia? Is she really Gray's biological daughter? Is she adopted? Did Gray do the thing that Gru was trying to do in Despicable Me? I think there's a lot more here than meets the eye, but heck if I know what it is. Perhaps she was raised by eagles like Gray?
This is a Jerry appreciation post.
How is Jerry still alive? Anyone who works with/for Saxton is in danger of dying 24/7, so kudos for him to sticking around that long. Does he interact with Bidwell and Reddy? Does Saxton even get Jerry's name right? He doesn't with Pauling...
