One interesting tidbit about Viola is that she was introduced with ash blonde hair in X/Y, but after that, in the anime and even Masters whose models are usually based on the official art of characters, she was depicted with a much warmer tone of blond ever since.

So, I think it has been established pretty well who my three favourite Pokémon characters are, so I'm interested... what's your favourite Pokémon character trio?

Butterfree seems to be based on the Black-veined white butterfly, a species that's common in temperate regions. Butterflies of the family Pieridae often have differing black markings on their wings between sexes. Just like Butterfree has too!

So, some popular streamer did a Nuzlocke and lost to Clay and started a negative hashtag.
Now I have to see countless of people hating on my all time favourite character. Insulting him, accusing him of underpaying/being a racist. I'm actually hurt by this.

Am I the only one who loves Lileep and Cradily? They are so underrated.

Metapod is based on a butterfly chrysalis. The gold rim swallowtail's has a strong resemblance with it.
Chrysalis refers to the pupal stage of butterflies where, unlike moths whose pupae are cased in silk, the casing is simply a thin layer of hard exoskeleton.
