Miyao Miya🐱
Her name sounds like "meow meow" to me so when she was cast as the cat in 3 Sisters Cafe I was VERY pleased. I didn't like a lot of her earlier cards because the color they picked for her hair was odd, but the one with the little frogs has always been a charmer.
Ohishi Izumi⛲️
My favorite New Wave cards the ones where they're all matchy-matchy or hanging out together. Navy Wave (and the rest of the set) has an extra special place in my heart. ☺️
Hayami Kanade💎
The aquarium card is super neat; it exists somewhere on my list of Top Cards in a Mobage. The second one is only here because I realized her costume had nautical themeing. She has a lot of aquatic/beachy cards & they're all great.
Seki Hiromi🎀
I love her alternate hairstyle in the + version of the second one but I only had so much space; the + version of the last one is super cool too. But alas, I could not resist the goofy face of Hiromi vs. Squirrel. u-u Her expressions are her charm point after all.
5) How often do you use references?
🤔I would say a lot; 100% for new things & realism, 50% for subjects I'm familiar with. These days I use refs for designing clothes, not so much for drawing them.
Below is an idea on how/how often I use references on the average piece.
@suzuranwhy Oh yeah, I Liked this way back and never sent you anything. Have a Rakko, the frog loving magical girl.
Child. 👀 I'm gonna leave y'all to take guesses as to who this one is.
Dunno who I'll do next, so I guess I'll suck it up and work on my mushrooms.
The fan-art I was going to do turned into planning for the next OC shuffle unit art. I might mess around with this for my February illustration, if I can figure out what the mystery object 4/5 of them are sitting on is.🤔
Sloooooowly crawling along. Despite having added an entire finished person to the piece, it feels like I've barely made progress since finishing Kanna #1. Hrrrrngh.
Gotta take a break to deal with other daily obligations. (dabs)
I added some color because I needed it (emotionally). Working in a proper order is overrated anyways. I might work foreground to background?
