@DemonsDaughter @taliasghul Ok but... I know she said she was gonna go alone, but taking a trip like that gonna be dangerous. Maybe she could use some help. And depending where we're at in the timeline...
O'Neil/Cowan's version from Question 1986, hands down.
Outside of comics it's... definitely harder. I'd like to say Young Justice but I don't feel like I've seen enough of her yet, so it's a toss-up between that and DC Superhero Girls. https://t.co/h0GdxzM89l
We need Shiva to meet her biggest in-universe fan.
We NEED it. https://t.co/jqnYeMjbw4
... thank you VERY much, @bryanedwardhill. And thanks to @dextersoy, @VeronicaGandini, @GlebMelnikov8, @TylerKirkhamArt and everyone else who worked their asses off with this run and made one of my favorite DC characters shine like I know she can for the first time in years.
I love seeing Shiva genuinely express how proud she is of Cass (although at times it feels not entirely earned due to a couple of quibbles), but that doesn't really lead to anything beyond putting them in an admittedly pretty awesome position that they've never been in before.
There's also just how dark and brooding the ending is by itself, which to me feels unwarranted. After all, while Bruce has been left alone, Duke and Cass went to Gotham and he's still on speaking terms with Jeff and Tatsu. The Outsiders may be gone and Sofia might have taken...
There's an interesting back and forth between the two here, as Shiva seems to be trying to talk Sofia out of it at times before finally making her own pitch.
I've talked before about how much I dislike Shiva trying to tempt others into following her, which we already saw...
And this is where Hill shows his hand. This issue has been all about bringing as much closure as possible to the Outsiders while still moving them towards new horizons, and here is where he does that with Shiva. Because Sofia wants more than a ranch and horses and a quiet life.
