Sent back to the destruction of Krypton, Jor-el gives and receives his last message. Hope realized.
Krypton having a good amount of fables and mythology makes it feel more like a real culture to me.
This could the one moment in comics that ive seen a dozen ir so but i feel something each time.
It never really felt appropriate to say this when he only wrote crossover issues and New Super-Man but after reading Superman Smashes the Klan #1 I feel comfortable saying Gene Luen Yang is one of the greats when it comes to Superman writers.
As much as we talk about how important gothic architecture and gargoyles are to Gotham, I think we should talk about Metropolis’ personality comes from Art Deco futurism.
