The #RiseoftheTMNTmovie Prologue was one of the first sequences to be colored and animated. When we saw the initial pass of rough animation from @Flyingbark for the sequence, the movie started to feel real. Here are some of my favorite color designs I did for it. #RiseoftheTMNT

The emotional exchange between Splinter and his mother makes me tear up every time, ever since the first time I saw the amazing storyboards. Coloring the characters in these shots meant a lot, and I love that #RiseOfTheTMNT embraced these types of thoughtful and stirring moments.
