There is no more beautiful confession than Akihiko who is so in love with Haruki he cant help to blurt it out loudly from the bottom of his heart and hold him desperately for dear life under a moonlight sakura tree expressing how much he just cant live without him.

Yuki doesn't make any appearance in the movie,he was supposed to be in a panel from the memory of Mafuyu during the CAC and mentioned during the sleepover but it was cut,yet in the ending credit we have a view of the clock which is showed to symbolize Yuki somehow.

The Akihiko/Ugetsu separation is clearly heartbreaking,they animated the last moment of Ugetsu crying with his point of view,when Akihiko is walking away we are watching the scene through his sight and the screen becomes blurry and fades away as tears fill his eyes
