In a talk about SB,Ueda said that what he loved about Dazai's way of caring for Chuuya,is the fact Dazai KNEW when he had to keep his distance because Chuuya needed to be alone,and he KNEW when he had to be right there in time because Chuuya needed him,the soft "watching over me"

Dazai already looked like this calm presence who would always be there to watch over Chuuya from anywhere with the way Chuuya was so surprised at their first interactions with his hand reaching for him and his shadow passing by him *reminding when he carried him in Storm Bringer*
